The National Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan was celebrated at the Embassy

On the occasion of 28 May - Republic Day, the National Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the State of Qatar organized an official reception in the Embassy’s administrative building, with adherence to the requirements and restrictions related to the epidemic followed in the State of Qatar.

The reception was attended by the H.E. Mr. Yousef bin Mohammed Al-Othman Fakhro Minister of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs of the State of Qatar, as well as the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions in Qatar.

After the anthems of the two countries, Ambassador Rashad Ismailov gave an opening speech and spoke about the establishment and achievements of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and about Azerbaijani-Qatari relationship.
